William R. Ranger, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in general surgery and by the American Board of Vascular Surgery.  He has been a practicing surgeon since 2000 in the area of vascular surgery, including peripheral angiography, angioplasty, stenting, endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms, laser atherectomy, fox hollow atherectomy, carotid artery stenting, carotid endartectomy, and laser varicose vein treatment.

He offers the latest innovation of carotid stenting with embolic protection and endovascular stent graft treatment for aortic aneurysms and thoracic aneurysms.

The greatest advice to patients is “avoid smoking, keep cholesterol low, take aspirin daily, and adopt a high fiber, low fat diet.”
